Edwards & Co Acquire Seven New Contracts at Manchester International Office Centre Totalling 10,000 Sq ft

Written 3 years ago on 7th Apr 2021

Seven new contracts totalling more than 10,000 sq ft of space have been signed at Manchester International Office Centre, indicating a strong start to Q1 for such activity in the region.

The heritage commercial site has also begun a programme of refurbishment, which will be completed in the coming weeks.

New tenants include GenCo Logistics and Sunclass Airlines, with Aramex, Neuven and Zebra Power all committing to new leases.

Elobau UK and Intellectual Property Attorneys Harrison IP have both extended their occupation.

Liam MacCarthy, director at investment manager Till AM, said: "We've seen a really positive end to 2020 and start of the New Year. There has been much talk of working from home being the new normal.

"Feedback we are receiving from our tenants indicates that while there are certainly going to be changes in working patterns, the office remains the central element of business.

"However, an office cannot just be a desk. Landlords must provide a level of amenity that encourages people back to the office."
