Edwards & Co advises JMW in Manchester expansion

JMW Solicitors has expanded its footprint in both Manchester and London.

The firm has struck a lease for a further 5,188 sq ft of grade A space at Mapletree's 3 Hardman Street in Spinningfields.

Its commercial teams now occupy the fourth floor of the building and just short of 20,000 sq ft.

JMW was advised on the lease by Andrew Timms of Edwards & Co, with 3 Hardman Street represented by Richard Lowe of Savills.

The fit-out was undertaken by ADT Workplace, alongside real estate commercial partner Thomas Pearson.

Senior partner Joy Kingsley said: "It made sense to bring all our commercial teams together on one floor, allowing them to work together for our clients.

"The new office space supports our continued growth and 3 Hardman Street is also very close to our space at 1 Byrom Place. The additional accommodation highlights our continued growth and investment for the future."

Fiona Lyons, asset manager at Mapletree, added: "JMW has been a part of the 3 Hardman Street community since 2017 and we are delighted it has taken further space with us, as part of its expansion plans.

"JMW's commitment to 3 Hardman Street is a testament to our occupier-centric ethos, which underpins the environment we provide for our 4,000-strong working population."

In London, the firm has taken the third floor of Kings House.
