Acting on behalf of Epsilon Real Estate Partners, Edwards & Co has agreed a letting to Carillion on 5,500 sq ft at Aeroworks on Adair Street, taking the construction company's presence in the building to 13,040 sq ft.

Aeroworks, a former aircraft components factory in Manchester constructed in 1940 to make parts for the Lancaster bomber, was bought in 2015 by London-based Epsilon from MCR Property Group, and has since undergone a refurbishment programme to upgrade the common areas and offices.

The quoting rent in the building is £13.50/sq ft.

Ed Keany, associate director at Edwards & Co, said: "Following its extensive refurbishment, Aeroworks offers occupiers high quality, open-plan, air-conditioned office space with a raw industrial feel.

"The exposed services refurbishment is proving to be extremely popular with organisations in the design and tech sector but also those businesses wanting more from their working environment in construction, engineering and legal professions."

OBI Property is joint letting agent alongside Edwards & Co.
